Starcraft 2 Campaign: A guys has found a clever workaround to continue to play with the guest pass, by editing a file in the starcraft 2 folder. Do it on your own responsibility!
Last night I used up my entire 7 hour guest pass that my friend gave me. First of all this game is freaking sweet and the campaigns story and presentation is cool, a mix between Firefly and Mass Effect. My trial ran out last night, then I was thrown to the main menu. I clicked on Play as Guest, and thought WTF then clicked Challenge mode, and I was playing the game again. I exited the game, found my save files, dragged them to the Guest Save folder. Relaunched and clicked play as guest again, and was able to continue my campaign. I did NOT crack or hack the game in any way shape or form, but I also did NOT pay for it either. So whats the deal, did anyone else figure this out?
EDIT: Wow! I did not think that this would get that much attention. I honestly thought someone else may have posted about this before me. But ya the save files should be located under C:\Users\”Account Name”\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts. Here you will find a folder with a bunch of numbers, this is your Battle.net account that you use to login, and if you clicked play as guest and chose the Guest Slot 1, the folder should be simply named “0″[zero]. Within these folders are the save folders for Campaign, Replays and what not. Simply Copy the saves from the “random numbers” folder and paste them appropriately within the “0″ folder. That is how easy it is! Well I guess enjoy, until Blizzard patches this.
