Blizzard quoted in there Q3 conference call ’09 that they will not release Diablo 3 in 2010, and hints around the interweb says now 2011.
That would also make sense according to Blizzard game release pattern, if you check out World of Warcraft 5 & Warcraft 15 Year Anniversary page, it all fits in perfect timeline.
So if you look back at Diablo I, that was released in 1996 and Diablo 2: LoD (Lords of Destruction) in 2001, and lets set Diablo III release date 2011, it would fit exactly 15 year anniversary for Diablo I & 10 Year for Diablo 2:LoD.
I don’t think this is a coincidence, so the conclusion must be that Diablo 3 will be released in 2011.
Now about the exact Diablo 3 release date: If we check the Diablo I on Wikipedia it was released on November 30, 1996 – so the bet would be end of november 2011.

well ok but I think I will be pushed back a year due to the relese of Star craft.
?Starcraft is next year, not 2011, so why would they push it back for that? Especially since they are using separate dev teams.
