If the ClassicBeta Realm isn’t showing up when you start Diablo II, simply login to any existing Battle.net gateway, it should be added to the list automatically. However, in the case that it is not, follow the steps below:
1) Go to Start > Run > Type in regedit
2) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Battle.net\Configuration
3) Double-click the “Battle.net gateways” key on the right-hand pane.
4) Add the following underneath the list that is already there:
classicbeta.battle.net 8 Classic Beta
Now, simply open up Diablo II and choose the “Classic Beta” realm now on your list.
