Description: The barbarian resists even death. Upon receiving fatal damage the Barbarian is kept alive and gains 30% of maximum health. This effect cannot occur more than once every 300 seconds.
I am against this passive skill because it completely cheeses hardcore mode. You would have died if this activated and your character would of been dead forever. This skill should just be removed from the game. Plus any good player on hardcore would not die once every 300 seconds. It might be a rare occasion if you die so this will always activate. You could also get this to activate then go chill in a safe spot and wait the 300 seconds. It really just cheeses hardcore mode. The barbarian will also have a lot more health then other classes so that 30% will be a lot of health.
I’d clarify on if it’s even in the game still but watching you guys go crazy over numbers and ideas and what a percentage of health even translates into in an unknown play environment is kind of entertaining.
Q u o t e:So what do you think then, is it op or not op?
It makes no difference. What does 30% health mean?
If you have a level 75 barb in Diablo III with no items on, naked, in normal mode, with a single skeleton hitting him, how many hits will it take to reduce his health by 1%?
Yeah, there’s no way to know, we have no real concrete information as to how much damage enemies are doing, so arguing over 30% being a lot or a little is irrational. You can’t superimpose Diablo II experiences with stats to a different game.
