Blizzard has not send out all the tickets for the BlizzCon 2009 winners of contests.
Way back in June, I won a contest for a Blizzcon ticket from a fansite. After e-mailing the site’s managers back and forth, they explained that Blizzard would be contacting me directly through e-mail.
A month later, I had yet to hear anything from Blizzard, so I brought it up here on the Diablo 3 forums. Bashiok answered “We’ll be contacting you in the near future”.
Now it’s August, with the convention in two weeks, and I STILL haven’t gotten the promised e-mail. And now one of my friends tells me he already received his barcode for claiming his purchased badge last week. So what’s the hold up? Should I be canceling my plane and hotel reservations or what?
Bashi0k replies the delay on BlizzCon 2009 tickets:
There’s a separation between tickets for the general public and what we consider “internal” requests. The internal badge list is being approved and you’ll get your e-mail soon.
